Komen Philadelphia introduces “Coffee, Cake and Connecting” to support survivors and individuals living with metastatic breast cancer in navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic

Susan G. Komen Philadelphia recently launched “Coffee, Cake and Connecting”—a unique, interactive series of engagements for breast cancer survivors and individuals living with metastatic breast cancer. This free online engagement series focuses on men and women  navigate through the challenges of COVID-19. Each session will be held biweekly (subject to change) and foster peer sharing and interaction while providing expert guidance on a topic that is especially relevant to breast cancer survivors and patients during these unprecedented times.

The first engagement will be on Thursday, April 9 at 7:00 p.m. and include a discussion on “Metastatic Breast Cancer, COVID-19 and Managing Your Anxiety” led by Dr. Jamie Wells, Dr. Jamie Wells, Chair of Yale Alumni Health Network and Adjunct Professor at Drexel University’s School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems
