The Komen Philadelphia Affiliate is thrilled to welcome back Thriftway & Shop 'n Bag as the sponsor of our 2010 Race Day Survivor and Sponsor Breakfast. Our 2009 Race "Rookie of the Year" honoree, the Thriftway & Shop 'n Bag team did a stellar job for their Breakfast premier in every aspect - from preparation and service, to an amazing selection of the freshest fruits, pastries, beverages and more. And now they've gotten us excited with plans in the works to do it all again.... including some new features.

More than just donating the entire breakfast - enough to feed 7,500+ people - Thriftway & Shop 'n Bag also makes a substantial financial contribution as a Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure sponsor. Certainly, their entire team helped, and will continue to help, put our Race event over the top, investing tremendous amounts of time, resources and heart to make the breakfast extra-special for our breast cancer survivor and sponsor families. They have been a loyal supporter of the Komen Philadelphia Affiliate for several years, whose generosity continues to grow in leaps and bounds.

We sincerely thank the entire Thriftway & Shop 'n Bag team, especially their steadfast leader, General Manager and passionate activist in the fight against breast cancer, Charles Schuster, for once again stepping up to carrying on this treasured Race day tradition in Philadelphia.

Survivors can receive a complimentary Thriftway & Shop 'n Bag Survivor and Sponsor Breakfast ticket for themselves plus one guest by registering for the Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure and checking the appropriate box for breast cancer survivors. The breakfast will be served from 6 AM - 7 AM in the Survivor & Sponsor Tent, located at the base of the Art Museum steps.
