You can now register online for the 2009 Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure - PLUS enjoy early-bird benefits to save you time and expense. Our Race microsite is easy to access at http://Race.KomenPhiladelphia.org, Now is the time to register, because online registration makes your process:

  • More convenient—register from your home or office
  • More cost effective—avoid late fees, enjoy early bird discounts
  • More savvy—register now and avoid the crowds

Register before November 30, and receive a 10% discount. That’s right: only $27 for adults and $13.50 for children (12 & under). If you’ve registered online before, you can use the same username and password to log in and access your address book and Race Center from last year. Once you have registered for 2009, you can visit your Race Center to review your personal page, manage your address book, and send e-mails to invite your friends, family and associates to join you and/or support you with pledges.

EXPANDED PARKING
This year will be easier than ever for you to park and walk or ride to the Race site in time for the opening ceremonies, thanks to MORE PARKING options in the Fairmount park area. Plus, shuttle service will be available between parking lots and Eakins Oval.

Suburbanites can leave traffic and gas prices behind and let SEPTA take care of all your Race-day transportation! For just $9 you can purchase an ALL-DAY, UNLIMITED, pass entitling you to ride on all SEPTA vehicles.

This year’s Race will feature a LARGER THAN LIFE piggybank just waiting for you to “fill up its belly.” With your help, we aspire to raise tens-of-thousands of additional dollars. Renowned chef Daniel Stern is preparing a special Race day brunch at the award-winning RAE restaurant… and breast cancer survivors eat free, when accompanied by a paying guest (please present your pink Race bib). Start a new Race-day tradition with RAE, you’ll be glad you did. Perfect for SEPTA riders, RAE is located in the Cira Centre, right next to 30th Street Station!

We’re calling all men to step it up and support your women by registering for the Race. And, we’re making it worth your while with a “Legends of the Game” tent on Race Day (your Race bib serves as admission).
