Team Captain Mentor Program Embraced Nationwide.

The innovation of the 2010 Komen Philadelphia Affiliate Team Captain Mentor Program was recently applauded by Susan G. Komen for the Cure national headquarters, who gave us the ultimate honor by setting our program up as a pilot program for Komen Affiliates nationwide to follow!
The Komen Philadelphia Affiliate thanks and congratulates every Mentor, Captain and Team Member who participated in our 2010 Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure Team Captain Mentor Program. Thanks to your hard work and belief in the power of numbers, this first year program helped teams raise over $900,000 -- and counting!
For sure, the fundraising and national accolades are wonderful achievements for a first-time program.... and speak volumes to the enormous level of dedication, creativity and passion of each and every participant in the program. Moreover, we can all take pride in knowing that together, we are supporting an end to breast cancer here at home -- as well as across the country -- by empowering communities served by other Komen Affiliates with the benefits our Team Captain Mentor Program.
As they say, "Knowledge is Power," and by sharing our knowledge, we are helping thousands of Race for the Cure teams power-up a world without breast cancer!
