Komen in the Community: Grants
The Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure offers grants for innovative projects in the areas of breast health and/or breast cancer education, screening, treatment and support. Request for Proposals
The 2010-2011 Request for Proposals is now available. Download the RFP for instructions, restrictions and required forms. All applicants must participate in the RFP Briefing Webinar. Funding priorities are discussed in the RFP and the Community Profile and this summary document. Applications must be delivered to Komen Philadelphia by 5pm, Monday, September 14, 2009. RFP Briefing Webinar: Applications will not be accepted from applicants who do not participate in this Webinar on July 7th. If you are not able to participate in the webinar from your location, please contact Komen Philadelphia for alternate accommodations.

Free Grant-writing Training: National Cancer Institute's Cancer Information Service will conduct training for Komen Philadelphia grant applicants. You must participate in the RFP Briefing Webinar to be eligible for the free training. You must participate in Part 1 if you would like to attend Part 2. You will receive the address of the training site when you register.
