Hope... CAPTURED!

Dear Loyal Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure Family,

Words cannot describe the onrush of emotion the Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) team experienced at the 2010 Race for the Cure, as thousands of you took part in the empowerment of our "Capturing Hope" tent.  In fact, we still feel those same emotions as we relive the cherished memories in our hearts and with each other - joy, excitement, inspiration, faith, gratitude, unity and, of course, HOPE... such tremendous hope.

When the CTCA team sat down to design the features of "Capturing Hope," our vision was to create something

that would send every person who came in contact with us away with what lies at the core of the CTCA mission: instilling hope for power over cancer, hope for life after cancer, hope for a world where freedom from cancer embraces one and all.  Our plan was to give you all hope. Never, as they say, "in our wildest dreams," did we imagine it would be YOU that brought so much hope to US through your enthusiasm, messages and interactions with each other and with our team.

For this beautiful experience, on behalf of everyone at CTCA, I extended our deepest appreciation.

There is no denying that on May 9, 2010 our community achieved "hope... CAPTURED." And CTCA is proud to be able to share all of it over and again with you and your loved ones.  So please, be sure to:

I assure you that our role as the Official Celebration Sponsor of the 20th Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure is far from over. Yes, this special sponsorship may be coming to a close, but our partnership with the Komen Philadelphia Affiliate - and all of you - in creating a world without breast cancer will only grow stronger with each day. Just as CTCA's leadership in cancer treatment drives us to continue to find new options of healing and hope for those battling cancer, our support of your personal and communal breast cancer missions will also never cease.

With gratitude,
